This week, Fermata Girl Vs The Medallion of Doom got its second 5-star review.
I thought it would be nice to share it with everyone (I particularly like the way the word “brilliant” keeps being mentioned when it comes to describe my work!) Feel free to share it around in your Facebook and /or Twitter accounts!
5.0 out of 5 stars A Delightful Romp into the Daily Lives of Superheroes January 30, 2014 – Format:Kindle Edition
“The Karaoke Duo is the name of a superhero couple that perform their amazing crime-stopping feats by singing. Edward is an older man who wishes to find a special gift for his lovely young partner Sheila. He finally stumbles upon a shop that has the perfect thing: a medallion with an exquisite cameo that closely resembles Sheila, aka Fermata Girl. The trinket had belonged to an evil sorceress many centuries before and when placed around Sheila’s neck the trouble begins.
I’ve read a couple of futuristic science fiction stories from this author and decided to read this book. It hasn’t many reviews yet and one unhelpful person tried to dissuade me. That person was wrong to do so. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. With a sprinkling of parody, satire and a generous helping of puns I smiled or laughed through the adventures of the Karaoke Duo. The book is a page turner with an interesting story line and delivered in a Monty-Python-meets-superhero-comic-books style. Brilliant!”
Now, wasn’t that a great review?
